My client are an exciting vendor in the Data Loss Prevention space, and currently seen as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant. They have reinvented their solution recently and this is evident in the change in fortune the company has experienced, having doubled in size over the last few years. They have an exceptional client base, and a number of market leading partners. They’re not looking to continue this growth by adding the person below to their team.
This role will see the individual being given the Financial Services market to run with and make their own. As the only person focused on the market, they will be responsible for building the sector and ensuring the success. You will reach out to your network immediately to start building the pipeline, with the aim of achieving multi-million dollar deals as soon as possible. This is a new business focused role, but you will have support from an internal sales individual who will try to set up meetings for you as well as passing qualified leads. This role is London based due to the Financial Market being mainly focused here.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling to the Financial Services market, and will have an extensive network in the large banks and insurance companies that you can reach out to immediately. If you have sold Data Loss Prevention previously that would be ideal, but my client would also look at a strong security or IT sell background as the market is the most important factor. Vendor experience is needed, as is the ability to close multi-million dollar deals as this is the aim for the sector. You will be based in London, and expected to travel to client sites as and when it's required.
