My client are an exciting Network and Cloud Security vendor who are experiencing very strong YOY growth since their inception. They have an exceptional partner and customer list across the globe, and are now looking to continue their incredible journey.
The Technical Sales role is essentially a new business focused role, where the individual will go out and target the Civilian Agencies as a key area of focus. Where this role differs from your traditional new business role is that you will also be responsible for all the presales activities, meaning that you are essentially responsible for the entire sales process. You will be supported initially until you're up to speed with this. There are strong channel partners in place for you to utilise as well. Once an agency is won you keep them for the first 12 months where you can continue to sell new solutions to them before they are handed over to the Account Management team. This is a home based role.
The successful candidate will be a new business focused hunter with a strong background in the security sector. Vulnerability management would be ideal, as would Web Application Security but neither are essential as my client would also consider Cloud Security and Infrastructure Security. Technical experience would be a benefit due to the pre-sales side of the role, however you will be supported and trained to get up to speed on this side. You will know how to work through the channel as well to maximise results. A strong network in the Civilian Agencies will be needed as you will need to hit the ground running once you come on board. You will be able to work from home but travel through the region when needed.
