My client are an exciting and well know Cyber Security organisation, with a focused technology that leads the way in their market. Funded and backed by strong investors, they have grown continuously and are now building the team to focus on exciting growth. This pre-IPO organisation are moving at an exciting pace and continue to innovate to stay ahead of the competition.
This is a very unique role in what is a unique team. You are tasked with building an ecosystem where technology partnerships can flourish, programs can be defined and ran effectively, business cases can be created for new joint partnerships, and strategic partners can be identified. You will attract the biggest technology vendors to the platform but not for the purpose of signing new agreements. You are painting a vision of how they can integrate with you and create something that will thrive by itself. This is a global role so travel is key here, but you can be based across the US or EMEA.
The successful candidate will be a senior individual, Director or VP level, within the business development world and will have built successful ecosystems previously. This would have happened in exciting cyber security organisations, ideally in start-ups, where you can show your success in working with technology partners and creating value for both sides. This role isn't about signing new deals, but instead about being creative in your ability to paint a vision while at the same time running successful programs to make these partnerships self-thriving. Travel globally is needed.
