The Global Value Delivery Engineer will lead Strategic Assessments (SOAs and SIAs), conduct workshops and provide thought leadership to the C-Level within the Retail space. They will be responsible for defining the supply chain strategy, process and solution transformation roadmap to operationalise the stratergy. They will also provide a strong business case supported by a compelling value proposition. They will be responsible for conducting site surveys, interviews and workshops, engaging with executives and assist individuals with developing a thorough understanding of business objectives. The role will be based anywhere in Europe.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience within strategic consulting or management consulting. This experience will ideally be within a primer consulting firm. Alternatively, someone who has worked as a senior-level supply chain practitioner within Retail would also be preferred. Experience within a Retail-based SCM software provider would be essential (merchandising, category management, consumer segmentation, supplier collaboration and supply chain). They will be a Retail market expert and be comfortable communicating technically and commercially. The ideal candidate will be based anywhere in Europe.
