Our Client provide a single application for the entire DevOps lifecycle. Their application is an open-source project and helps professionals to collaborate on code. Their solution aims to make the software lifecycle substantially faster. They have raised an impressive level of funding and have also received an impressive valuation.
The Solution Architect role will be predominantly technical and consultative in nature. They will provide technical assistance and guidance to enterprise level implementations during the pre-sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements. They will work in collaboration with the sales team to formulate and executive a sales strategy to deliver against revenue objectives. Further to this, they will educate customers on our client's value proposition and participate in all levels of discussions. In addition, they will be required to work on-site with strategic, enterprise-class customers delivering solutions architecture consulting, technical guidance, knowledge transfer and become a trusted advisor to the client. The role will be based on the West Coast, USA.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience within a pre-sales role in the software space. They will come from a background within one of the following; Application Lifecycle Management, DevOps or Opensource. Any experience of working for a smaller vendor would be beneficial but not essential. The ideal candidate will be based on the West Coast, USA.
