The Federal Strategic Account Leader (DoD) will be responsible for the prospecting and developing of new opportunities into large/strategic accounts. They will ensure products are successfully rolled out and adopted using strong account management activities and working in collaboration with pre and post sales engineering and support resources. They will generate qualified leads and develop new customers, prepare activity and forecast reports and respond to RFP's. A key aspect of the role is to build and strengthen business relationships with current accounts and new prospects. The role will be based in Washington D.C, Virginia or Maryland, USA.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of achievement against quota in the Federal space. They will be experienced within DevOps, Databases (NoSQL), Opensource, Application Lifecycle Management and Application Security. Further to this, 5+ years of experience selling into Navy and/or Marine accounts with a comprehensive understanding of the local Public Sector landscape and associated business processes would be preferred. Security Clearance is also required. Exposure to Git, Software Development Tools, Application Lifecycle Management would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will be based in Washington D.C, Virginia or Maryland, USA.
