What was the brief?

Fortinet enlisted the help of JPS Selection to assist with their requirement for a Major Account Manager within one of their European territories. They required someone with a strong security sales background, but whom also had experience of selling into the large enterprise accounts in the territory.


What was our process?

Due to the limited talent pool that would be required to match not only the location, but also the skillset, JPS Selection took a different approach. The team targeted not only the multi-national vendors in the territory, but also local vendors in order to create a shortlist from ten donor companies. Working in partnership with the Country Manager and the Hiring Manager, JPS Selection were able to gain a strong understanding of the local landscape, which helped them to draw up a shortlist of high-quality, well-aligned candidates.


What was the outcome?

The vacancy took around six weeks to fill. Due to the high-calibre of the candidates put forward, Fortinet created a second headcount for the role – hiring two candidates from JPS Selection’s shortlist. Both candidates are still with Fortinet, and are enjoying great success.
